Festival Report

Once again, our students outdid themselves. All groups performed to the best of their abilities; the Advanced Orchestra was overwhelming in its power and musicality. One judge considered their performance of "Nitebeat" to be the best she had ever heard; and this selection was dedicated to HER group in Austin, Texas! Sightreading was also a positive experience. The judge in that division told me that if we had gone for ratings (something we have not done for years), all of our groups would have received Superiors. Many thanks to Mrs. Brostoff for helping us run the Festival, and to all the visiting schools who participated.
