I grew up in a wonderful town, Harvey, Illinois and had wonderful music teachers; I attended a number of universities, but DePauw and Loyola had the most impact on me. I enjoy finding old friends from New Orleans now, especially after H. Katrina.

Harmony for Humanity I

I am REALLY excited about our music-making opportunities this Friday and Saturday. It is disappointing that all students and families don't seem to be as enthusiastic as I am, but after 30 years of teaching, I am used to it! I was REALLY impressed with our 9th graders; they were very kind to our MS visitors. I will continue the "Harmony for Humanity" theme at our fall concert. All our conductors were pleased to be with us and wish us well in all our future musical endeavors.
